Our Model
Is what makes our company
Statement of Purpose
At AINT Foundation CIC, we are proud to lead a new standard in trauma‑responsive, non‑judgemental practice. The AINT model was created to bring humanity back into therapeutic work replacing pressure, shame, and clinical detachment with acceptance, clarity, and genuine human connection.
Our model is built on four core principles: acceptance, integration, non‑judgement, and trust. These principles shape every session, every training pathway, and every piece of work we deliver. They ensure that clients and practitioners experience a space that is safe, warm, and grounded in dignity.
The AINT model stands apart because it is accessible, practical, and deeply humane. It blends research, lived experience, and global practice into a framework that practitioners can use confidently and clients can feel safe within. It removes jargon, removes hierarchy, and removes the fear of “getting it wrong”. Instead, it offers clarity, compassion, and tools that work in real‑world settings.
How We Operate
AINT Foundation CIC is structured in two parts, allowing us to serve our community and private clients with equal care, dignity, and excellence.
Community Work
As a Community Interest Company, we reinvest into programmes that support families and vulnerable adults. This includes accessible therapeutic support, workshops, outreach, and trauma‑responsive resources designed to remove barriers and create safer emotional spaces for those who need it most.
Private Practice
Alongside our community work, we offer private therapeutic services, specialist training, and practitioner development rooted in the AINT Model. This ensures sustainability, high‑quality provision, and ongoing innovation across our organisation.
Together, these two parts allow us to deliver a model that is both ethically grounded and professionally robust, strengthening our credibility and expanding our impact.
Why Our Model Wins Awards
Our award recognition reflects the impact of this approach. Panels consistently highlight the AINT model for its:
• Innovation in trauma‑responsive, non‑judgmental practice
• Ethical excellence and commitment to dignity
• Accessibility for practitioners at all levels
• Real‑world impact adults, and families
• Strengthening of practitioner confidence and safety
They see the difference it makes and so do the communities we serve.
Our Commitment
AINT Foundation CIC exists to make therapy human again.
Our model is not just a framework; it is a statement of who we are, what we stand for, and the future we are building.
Our Signature Method:
The AINT Neuro‑Regulation Method
The AINT Neuro‑Regulation Method is the signature grounding technique of AINT Foundation CIC and a defining feature of the AINT Model. It was created to solve one of the biggest challenges people face when seeking emotional support:
talking about traumatic or tragic experiences without being pulled back into the pain.
For many individuals, even beginning to speak about what happened can trigger panic, overwhelm, or emotional shutdown. Traditional approaches often ask people to “go deeper,” but for trauma survivors this can be unsafe and destabilising.
The AINT Neuro‑Regulation Method offers a gentle, humane alternative.
How it works
• You briefly name the issue that brought you to us — just a few seconds.
• Before your brain has time to reconnect with the emotional pain, we gently pause you.
• We then guide you into something positive, comforting, or even a small moment of humour.
• This shift activates the brain’s natural calming chemicals, helping you stay grounded and in control.
If you can’t think of anything positive, we never pressure you.
We simply offer something light or playful — enough to soften the moment and help your body settle.
Why it’s so effective
This method works because the brain doesn’t have time to re‑enter the emotional pain.
The traumatic memory network never fully activates, so you can talk about what happened without reliving it.
It prevents:
• panic
• dissociation
• emotional overwhelm
• shutdown
And it supports:
• grounding
• emotional stability
• a sense of control
• safety
• connection
The AINT Neuro‑Regulation Method is one of the reasons the AINT Model has received two global awards for innovation, accessibility, and humanity. It reflects our belief that emotional support should always be gentle, respectful, and safe — never overwhelming or retraumatising.
This method is not just a technique.
It is a signature expression of who we are and how we care for the people who come to us.
