Community Therapy vs Private Therapy

At AINT Foundation CIC, we offer two pathways to access support: community therapy and private therapy. Both are grounded in the AINT Model and delivered with the same commitment to dignity, emotional safety, and non‑judgment. The difference lies in how each pathway is structured, funded, and delivered.

Fees & Funding

At AINT Foundation CIC, we believe therapy should be accessible, affordable, and shaped around real community needs. We offer two types of support — Community Therapy and Private Therapy — each designed to meet different levels of need, flexibility, and affordability.

Community Therapy

Community Therapy is designed to make emotional support more accessible. These sessions are delivered in groups or structured programmes, allowing us to support more people at once and reduce the overall cost.

Community Therapy is:

Affordable and accessible

Delivered in groups or set programmes

Structured around shared learning and connection

Suitable for adults, young people, and families depending on the programme

Community Therapy is ideal for people who want supportive, structured sessions at a lower cost.

Private Therapy

Private therapy offers a more personalised, flexible approach. Sessions are one‑to‑one (or for couples/families) and tailored specifically to your needs, pace, and goals.

Private therapy includes support for:

Trauma and PTSD

Abuse recovery

Anxiety and overwhelm

Self‑esteem and identity

Grief and loss

Couples therapy

Group therapy (private groups)

SOS sessions for immediate emotional support

Private therapy prices vary depending on:

The type of session

Practitioner availability

Whether the session is for an individual, couple, or group

Private Therapy is ideal for people who want personalised support, flexible scheduling, and a deeper therapeutic focus.

Community Pricing (For Private Therapy)

To keep therapy accessible, we offer a Community Pricing Model for private sessions.

£20 Community Sessions

Clients are eligible for the £20 rate if they are:

Receiving benefits

This contribution helps us keep the service running and allows us to support more people.

Free Sessions

Free sessions are available for clients who:

Are unemployed, and

Are waiting for benefit confirmation or experiencing a temporary gap in income

No one is turned away because they cannot pay. We simply ask clients to let us know their situation so we can place them in the right category.
